Water Seepage through windowsill

Shawn sought our help in fixing water seepage on his bedroom windowsill. His bedroom is on the second floor of a townhouse. We examined the window and its surrounding area. The window was properly installed. We traced all the way to the roof where we found a few cracks and fixed them with roof primer and a few coats of sealant. Water seepage on windowsill disappeared but reappeared on wall close to the window after heavy rain. We went out and checked the external wall from second floor window to the roof and found small honeycombs at drainage connection to the wall without proper sealant. A strong sealant material was applied and the problem was fixed. Shawn was relieved that the issue was resolved.
